Surnames include: Bordelon, Daigrepont, Dubroc, Ducote, Joffrion, Juneau, Laborde, LaCour, Lemoine, Mayeux, Rabalais, Roy, and many more branches. After reviewing several documents including census reports, marriage records and burial certificates, the Ducote branch in this database shows the father and mother of Pierre "Coureur de Bois" was Pierre "Coureur" Ducote and Marie Antoinette (Sauvagesse). Sieur Jean Jacques Vernin Depont Daigrepont is the first Daigrepont found in the USA, around 1810. I have not found anyone that has taken the Daigrepont Tree back any further then 1810. With my newly found information, I am hoping to take the Daigrepont Tree back to the 1500's. So far, I am only accumlating notes. Anyone with further info please e-mail me. [email protected]
